I had been working on my first book for some years and had reached a point where it wasn’t finished, but I didn’t know how to complete it or even if it was worth trying to finish it. I signed up to the retreat at Rydall Hall hoping to find answers to these questions but was unsure of what to expect. From the moment I stepped into the hotel’s reception I was warmly welcomed into a supportive group of writers. The group sessions to discuss books and ideas helped me have more confidence in my work and ability to write. One on one sessions with published authors were invaluable in finding a solution to finishing and publishing my manuscript. I would recommend the retreat to any writers, without it, my book would have remained nothing more than a few ideas typed into a Word document.
